On August 24th, I appeared as a guest on Internet TV Torigoe Azuri FM's “Suiko-san's Mainichi Surprise!” with Masakazu Hara, the author of “Puupuu the whale”, and talked about the works I have done so far.

I drew pictures for “Puupuu the Whale” (text by Masakazu Hara/Imagination +/ press, inc.).
One day, the lonely Puupuu found a friend… It will be published at the end of August 2023.

My work was picked up in “Picture Book Now 2023-2024”

My work and I were picked up in “Picture Book Now: Picture Book Writers 2023-2024” (published by Genkosha, July 2023) You can find the work files of 205 writers, many articles about picture books and special features. The cover is done by Shizuko Wakayama.

I drew a picture for the appendix poster for “Kagaku no Tomo”

I drew a picture for the poster, which will be included as a fold-out appendix of August 2023 issue of “Kagaku no Tomo”(Fukuinkan Shoten Publishers, Inc.)
“Various kinds of summer vegetables.” It depicts the appearance of summer vegetables in a field and the vegetables themselves. This is how zucchini grows.

The title of the illustrated story in “Kagaku no Tomo” is “Totteokino Hanashi” (written by Kaori Kogashiwa and Tadayuki Marumoto).

I drew a picture for “Dossari Oyasai”

I drew a picture for the August 2022 issue of Fukuinkan Shoten's "Kodomo no Tomo; Nenshoban", "Doassari Oyasai -Harvesting summer vegetables".
Written by Hisano Okawa. The story is based on the vegetables that Ms. Okawa grows at a community farm.
